On September 18, EY released its 2026 Most Promising Enterprises list, with Vizum named among the honorees. As a globally recognized professional services organization, EY’s annual selection continues to focus on high-growth companies in the hard-tech sector. The recognition represents professional recognition from the industry of Vizum’s capabilities in stereo vision, embodied intelligence perception technology, and commercialization.

The Power of Recognition | From Seeing to Intelligence

EY is one of the world’s Big Four professional services organizations. Since entering Greater China in 1968, EY has established a presence in the region for more than half a century, providing a full range of professional services spanning assurance, consulting, strategy, and tax. Over the years, it has become a trusted strategic partner to many Chinese enterprises.

The Most Promising Enterprises program was jointly launched by EY and the School of Management at Fudan University in 2011 and has now reached its 16th edition. More than 400 emerging companies have been selected over the years, with more than 60 subsequently entering the capital markets. The recognized companies span frontier industries including artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, new energy, and biotechnology.

The selection evaluates participating companies across multiple dimensions, including technological barriers, market opportunities, commercialization progress, team capabilities, and growth potential, while also conducting long-term tracking and comprehensive assessment. The program has established broad influence among China’s high-growth hard-tech companies.

Today, embodied intelligence is moving from proof of concept toward industrial-scale commercialization. Robots are no longer limited to performing pre-programmed repetitive tasks. Powered by 3D perception and world models, they are increasingly capable of perceiving, reasoning about, and operating within complex physical environments. As this industry undergoes a major transformation, 3D spatial perception is a core technological foundation for enabling robots to move from “seeing” to “understanding and acting with precision.”

This is precisely the core area where Vizum is focused. Through its in-house stereo vision technology spanning the full stack, Vizum is building precise perception capabilities for robots to understand the physical world, providing the sensing foundation required for robots to understand spatial relationships, recognize objects, and perform tasks across scenarios such as industrial production lines, warehousing and logistics, and humanoid robotics.

Technology as the Foundation | A Decade of In-House R&D

From a technology perspective, Vizum is committed to end-to-end in-house R&D, from algorithms to hardware. Its stereo vision technology is designed to withstand common sources of interference in industrial environments, including strong light, reflections, and complex materials, while directly outputting high-precision, high-frame-rate point cloud data. This enables robots to reliably identify targets, determine their positions, and execute actions in precision-intensive applications such as welding, picking, and assembly.

Building on this core capability, Vizum deeply integrates visual feedback with robotic motion control and has developed differentiated technological capabilities around hand-eye servo control. This allows robots to adjust their posture in real time and autonomously, even in dynamic and changing operating environments, enabling efficient coordinated operations.

In terms of commercial deployment, Vizum’s stereo vision products have generated commercial orders and scaled applications in scenarios including industrial picking and intelligent welding, helping manufacturers upgrade automated operations under complex working conditions. At the same time, the company has expanded into the humanoid robotics sector, developing next-generation perception solutions around robots’ needs for environmental perception and autonomous manipulation, and extending its technology from industrial applications to more general-purpose intelligent-agent scenarios.

To date, Vizum has secured more than 140 granted intellectual property rights, including 45 granted invention patents, forming a technology portfolio covering stereo vision cameras, core robotic components, hand-eye servo systems, and natural learning technologies. Its integrated software-and-hardware R&D capabilities enable the company to build an end-to-end development loop spanning algorithms, modules, and industry solutions, providing deployable perception products for customers across different industries.

Breaking Boundaries, Leading the Way | Toward the Future of Embodied Intelligence

Being named a 2026 EY-Fudan Most Promising Enterprise recognizes Vizum’s achievements to date while also reflecting expectations for the company’s next stage of development. Recognition is not the destination, but a new starting point.

Vizum has established itself as an important stereo vision and solutions provider in intelligent manufacturing, particularly in intelligent welding and smart mining. Leveraging self-developed stereo vision hardware and algorithms, the company continues to deliver stable and reliable 3D perception capabilities for complex industrial environments, achieving commercial deployment across multiple industries while building solid project experience and a growing customer base.

Looking ahead, Vizum will continue to deepen its focus on embodied intelligence and provide humanoid robots and other types of embodied intelligent robots with higher-precision, clearer point clouds, and stronger overall performance through its robotic vision solution, ViEye. As a core perception solution for embodied intelligence, ViEye will continue to expand the application of stereo vision across industrial automation, general-purpose robotics, and other fields, supporting more robot manufacturers and working together to accelerate the commercialization of embodied intelligence.
